Shopee Buys: Maybelline Fit Me ~ Dewy + Smooth

Welcome back to the final part of this Shopee Buy series! Sorry for the delay, I've honestly just been slacking off and couldn't find the motivation to get to this post. But alas, I'm back! As per the title, I'm going to talk about the Maybelline Fit Me foundation in the Dewy + Smooth formula. This product is relatively new in the Malaysian market. Most of you would be familiar with the Fit Me foundation with the Matte + Poreless formula. Although that foundation has been raved about, I personally don't lean towards matte formula foundations as I find them to be quite heavy and get cakey towards the end of the day.

For starters, here's a little bit of information about the product:

- Formulated for Normal to Dry skin

- Contains SPF 23

- Provides a luminous & dewy finish

- Hydrating

- Non-comedogenic & fragrance-free

So, on their website, there was nothing mentioned regarding the coverage or longevity of the formula so I woudn't expect it to last all day on your face without any touch ups. However, most dewy-type foundations are like that and are more to a light to medium coverage as opposed to mattifying foundations.

My initial impression of this foundation is that it appears rather skinlike (as you can see from the images), it has a light texture and gives you a very natural look which I have more of a preference for. For me, I use the shade 220 (Natural Beige) which falls under the warmer tones in the selection. In Malaysia, I think they only sell around 12 shades (which kinda sucks not gonna lie. I really think that we should be including the entire range in our stores because we are a multiracial country and of course we have immigrants that come in different skin tones. So, we should be inclusive!). Apart from that, I really like that it is fragrance free. For someone who has sensitive skin, I really appreciate this little detail that they considered. Many foundations in the market use fragrances and that really irritates my skin. So I'm glad I found a foundation that will give me no issues in that department.

Similar to the previous post, I will be testing out this foundation throughout the day and provide a more detail feedback about it's longevity, oxidation and summarize what I think about it.
