Sephora VIP Sale 2018

Hey all, I'm back (finally)! I'm finally on my semester break and motivated to release some new posts during this month. Today's post is of course about the Sephora VIP Sale that was around 2 months ago? All Black & Gold card members got 20% off so I took that advantage and used it. Thank God I did because Sephora recently demoted me back to the White card because I failed to spend RM900.00 this year which is no surprise because I'm a student and earning zero money. But I find it really weird because before this they never tried demoting me? Like I never spend that much money in Sephora and I've been a member since I was in early secondary school. Oh well, can't do shit about that now.

Anyway getting straight to it, I bought two products during the sale (lame I know... but a bij is broke). I purchased the Fenty Gloss Bomb (RM84.00) and a mini Zoeva eyeshadow palette.

Overall, I was really happy with my purchases. I bought the mini palette because I personally felt that the original sized one had shades slightly similar to the ones here and I didn't see a need for them. I absolutely LOVE the Fenty Gloss Bomb. I use it all the time. It's not sticky and makes your lips look so yummy! I really wanna get both of her other shades; Diamond Milk & Fussy, to add to my collection.

The Zoeva palette is really nice. It is really small but unless you use this every single day, you're not really gonna run out of product. I really like the shades, it reminds me of fall (my favourite season) and I feel that the colours are really versatile and are great for everyday use. It is a fully matte palette but then again I don't wear shimmer on a daily so this was great for me. The formula of the shadows were also very nice, however one of the shades (the dark burgundy one) was slightly patchy when I swatched it but you can build up the colour to correct that.

Both of these products were really affordable for Sephora standards and great if you're just starting out your love of makeup. The Zoeva palette is only available online, I have yet to see this or any of the other minis in-store so just keep that in mind if you intend on purchasing it.
